The

with his box office success of 'Cest La Vie Mon Cherie' and
recognition from an Official Selection at the Berlin Film
Festival for 'Viva Erotica', Derek offers yet another treat
with this love story in his signature style. The colours of
Asia comes through with layered characterisations and locations
set in China, Hong Kong and Singapore. The movie is shot in
Cantonese and dubbed in Mandarin.
Two fresh faces from
the movie industry plays the leads. One is a popular TV actress
from Singapore with a growing popularity in the region after
releasing two albums, and the other is a recording artiste
from Taiwan who has just released an album. With strong appeal
to the young adults, the movie also has veteran actors playing
supporting roles to give wider reach and added depth.
Synopsis
Sam is a fresh graduate
from Singapore who decides to work in Hong Kong to gain a
wider exposure in life. He chances upon Jane, a beautiful
young girl at the cinema, and his fascination for her leads
him to discover a lifestyle unknown to him. The crossing of
paths of the two lovers offers juxtaposition between the two
extremes, and the compromises and truths both need to face
to stay together.
