MEDIACORP RAINTREE PICTURES PRODUCES FIRST LOCAL SEQUEL -
This movie is centred around 3 teenagers, Jerry, Tom and Cheng Cai. Jack Neo delves into the generation gaps that working parents are now facing with their children and unveil the children’s inner emotions. Mr Daniel Yun, CEO of MediaCorp Raintree Pictures said, "I Not Stupid is the most successful local film ever made. It is, in many ways, a coming of age film for the local movie industry and a cultural landmark. It also has the attributes of a break out hit. We hope to produce a worthy sequel. We also hope to build on the success of the original movie to broaden the appeal of it to a wider audience. Hopefully this movie will travel to those markets the original and other local films have yet to conquer. Most of the key people involved in the original will also be back for this sequel." This movie stars Shawn Lee, Joshua Ang and Ashley Leong. Supporting them are popular artistes including veteran Xiang Yun and Huang Yi Liang. I NOT STUPID TOO 《小孩不笨 2》is scheduled to hit theatres by Dec 2005 and will be marketed locally by MediaCorp Raintree Pictures.
