Lai Meng, or affectionally know as Meng Yee, is well known for her role in a local sitcom named Empat Sekawan (Sei Hei Lam Mun in Cantonese). The local series was enjoyed by all races and ran for over two decades back in the 60s.

Lai Meng was also involved in radio dramas back then and was actively involved in Hokkien, Mandarin and Cantonese dramas since 1970s. Because of her love in acting, Lai Meng will not hesitate to accept acting offers, although these days, Lai Meng has taken things at a slower pace now that age is catching up.
