KK ( 黄国强 ) started in the entertainment industry as a DJ, host and producer for a renowned radio station. KK has also hosted numerous events (including beauty pageants, launches, road shows) and Chinese variety shows including TV3's On the Beat ( highest viewership rating for Chinese variety show), NTV7's Family Happy Hour, Who Will Win (Malaysia's 1 st singing competition which broadcasted live for 3 months) and NTV 7's Trick and Treat 1 st and 2 nd season (Malaysia's 1 st “prank” game show).

In 2003, KK released his 1 st Cantonese album and was also awarded BPA (Malaysia Best Presenter). KK also enjoys theatre performance in which he plays Taming of the Shrew's Petruchio in 2005.
